Time with Summer

Summer has been having some issues lately, it's been hard. She seems sad all the time and isn't very nice to her brothers or us as parents. I know for a fact what she misses is time with us without the boys. When we get busy we forget to plan something. So Tuesday was my date night with Summer. We went and had our hair done, then to the mall one of her favorite places. We have fun bumming around, had dinner, laughed, and talked. She was awesome and really fun with only a few moments of being a butt. I'm learning how to handle her. I really want to yell and send her to her room for the rest of the night. But I know now that isn't working, so now I ask if she needs time to herself to think things over. She is still a pill, I didn't think it would fix anything over night. I do feel positive that we with get through this. I've been reading her verses I think might help. I remind her all the time God is with her and loves her very much. Even when it seems like no one else does. Lots of prayer. I love her so much and want the best for her. God blessed me to be her mom and I'll the best I can with God by my side.  =)

Silverwood

Saturday was Silverwood day! Summer earned a free ticket by reading and Reggie and I earned free tickets because we know family who had some they weren't going to use. (Thank you Brandon and Kaylie) Silverwood is great to begin with but even better when it's free! Summer had a hard time with the rides, so we didn't go on alot. But we got her on Tremors and she screamed her head off, but she did it and was very proud of herself. We were proud of her also, she was great the whole day. Now for the pictures which sometimes tell the story better then I do. :)

First Day of School

First day of school. Summer with her friend Alyssa. Cutest second and third grader I know. :) It feels strange with her not around. She likes it and will do great I know it.

Summer's Hair

Summer got her hair cut yesterday for school and boy did she need it.

This is before. During the summer months it got pretty bad. We barely brushed it, her hair turns green in pools, and really I don't know how well she washes it. I think Whitney washed it the best in a long time.

On to the cutting, which was funny to watch. Summer leans to the side alot. She doesn't like the blow dryer and the straighter (which Whitney used to curl) scared her alittle.

   But it turned out beautiful and she wishes her hair would always look like this.

 If it wasn't so much work it might. But my goodness she is a cutie!!

Can't Believe I Have a 7 Year Old!!

I'm too young to have a 7 year old!! Well I guess not but it does blow my mind. It goes by way too fast. Her birthday was short and sweet with just family over, some pizza and cake, and of course lots of gifts. :)

Yarn Doll

Summer made a yarn doll at the Liberty Lake Library today. It's the cutest thing ever. She was awesome. The LL Library is the coolest library in the world. The people are great, they have so many things going on. We love going there. :)

Rock Star for Sure

 

Summer got her wish... A guitar!!! She is so excited about it. She sings to the boys and they just eat it up. Lessons in the future would be cool, we shall see.
