Sunday BBQ

We had a great BBQ at Reggie's parents house on Sunday. We colored with chalk, played with Mike the dog, ate some great food and hung out. I'm very lucky to have in-laws that are amazing. My kids are lucky to be so close to all their grandparents. :)

stars and sweets

Cat Lady cookie :)
Erica and I made firework cookies. We got the idea from a Martha Stewart magazine. The cookies are from a bag, nothing fancy. It was all about decorating them this time around. Erica did make the icing and it was interesting to work with, different then frosting which is what we are use to. The cookies were a hit, when I was serving them to the neighbors in the evening. Next time I'll make the cookies homemade.

I love this one!!

Beautiful Bowlers

What a group of good looking ladies!! Kim is getting married soon (real soon) and we took her out bowling on Thursday night. She not doing the "normal wedding" so we kept her get together small. But really what more do you need then some friends. blacklights, bowling shoes and a basket of fries. We went to River City Lanes in Post Falls and the place is awesome. It's not very big, or fancy and the prices are great. We were even thinking a kids playdate there. These ladies are a blast to hang out with. I had so much fun!!

I did take pictures of our scores but decided to not show them, they were just too good! :) hehehe

Pizza & Park

Thursday was Pizza and the Park with my dad. Or as the kids call him Super Papa!! We were trying to figure out how many years we have been doing this. I think 3 only we would go a few times a year. Once Summer started school we have gone once a year. Right around the time she gets out. We head up the to South Hill for Wizard Pizza (Round Table) then to Manito Park to walk through the greenhouse and anything else we can see before my dad has to go back to work. I think its a wonderful tradition and I hope it continues for years to come. :)
